Do you travel to Melissa?
Yes — Melissa is the home base. No travel fees anywhere inside the city.
Where is a good spot for family photos in Melissa?
For outdoor sessions, the community parks work well, and Erwin Park just south in McKinney adds wooded options. For toddler sessions I strongly recommend in-home.
How far in advance should I book?
Most Melissa sessions are family or first-year shoots — two to six weeks is typical. For weddings, book six to twelve months out. For private events, one to three months.
Do you work with new parents who aren't sure what they need?
Yes — most Melissa families start with a quick call. I'll walk you through the options and tell you honestly what makes sense for where you are in the chapter.
Where do you shoot headshots?
On-location — your office lobby, a local park, a textured wall, wherever fits your brand. I bring portable lighting if we need controlled light. We pick the spot based on the look you're going for.
How many images do I get to keep?
You get every edited image from the session in a private online gallery. All high-resolution, all downloadable.
Can I bring a change of outfit?
Yes. One or two outfit changes work well within the hour. I'll advise on colors and patterns in the prep guide I send before we shoot.
Do you do team headshots?
Yes — teams up to 15 in a single half-day. Consistent look and background across every person. Pricing is per-person with a half-day minimum.
Are usage rights included?
Yes. Standard commercial usage — LinkedIn, press kits, company websites, speaker bios — is included at no extra cost.
