What makes a headshot actually work
A headshot does one job: make the right impression before you walk into the room. That means it has to look like you — not stiff, not over-retouched, not like you borrowed someone else’s confidence.
I shoot headshots the way I shoot everything else: light that flatters, direction that feels natural, and enough frames that you have real options. Most clients who tell me they’re “not photogenic” walk out with images they actually want to use.
On-location
Every headshot session is on-location. Your office, a textured wall downtown, natural light from a north-facing window, a clean backdrop at a local park — wherever fits your brand. I bring portable lighting when we need controlled light. If you’re not sure what works best, we talk it through before the session.
Team sessions
I shoot teams up to 15 in a single half-day. Same lighting setup, same framing, consistent look across every person on your team page. Turnaround is five business days. Pricing is per-person, with volume rates for teams of five or more.

Where do you shoot headshots?
On-location — your office lobby, a local park, a textured wall, wherever fits your brand. I bring portable lighting if we need controlled light. We pick the spot based on the look you're going for.
How many images do I get to keep?
You get every edited image from the session in a private online gallery. All high-resolution, all downloadable.
Can I bring a change of outfit?
Yes. One or two outfit changes work well within the hour. I'll advise on colors and patterns in the prep guide I send before we shoot.
Do you do team headshots?
Yes — teams up to 15 in a single half-day. Consistent look and background across every person. Pricing is per-person with a half-day minimum.
Are usage rights included?
Yes. Standard commercial usage — LinkedIn, press kits, company websites, speaker bios — is included at no extra cost.
