§ Serving McKinney, TX

A McKinney photographer who shoots where the light is.

Historic Downtown McKinney, Chestnut Square, Erwin Park — or in-home anywhere from Stonebridge Ranch to Craig Ranch.

§ About McKinney

McKinney has the best downtown in North Dallas, and the square does more heavy lifting for my engagement and senior sessions than any other single location. The red brick, the old oaks, Chestnut Square just off Virginia Street — all of it photographs well. Out at Erwin Park the woods open up and families who want something less curated get more of what they're looking for.

§ FAQ

McKinney questions.

Where do you shoot engagement sessions in McKinney?

Historic Downtown first — the square at golden hour is unbeatable. Chestnut Square as an alternative if you want the old-homestead aesthetic. Adriatica if you want the Mediterranean look without driving to Frisco.

Do you cover McKinney weddings?

Yes — Stone Crest, Grand Ivory, The Grand Hall at Adriatica, and several of the newer venues out toward Prosper. I know most DFW venues well enough to walk in without needing a scouting visit, but I still do one for every booking.

Can we do the session at a historic McKinney home or on the square?

The square is public and photographs beautifully. Chestnut Square is a historic site — access is usually available but may require a small fee through their office. I'll handle the logistics if you want to shoot there.

How far in advance should I book a McKinney session?

Family sessions — two to six weeks. Senior and engagement — one to three months, depending on the season. Weddings — six to twelve months. Events — one to three months.

Is there a travel fee to McKinney?

No travel fee for McKinney proper. Trinity Falls and north-McKinney sessions are still inside the flat rate.
